Raizou is a 15-year-old young boy who has a small horn on his head, which identifies him as the heir of the Katana household. Due to his horn, he has been an outcast for most of his life.
Pretty much every time Raizou succeeds in his quest to find/save a potential wife, he ends up running away; it's implied that his early childhood of being shunned as the 'demon boy' has devastated his self-esteem, to the point where he automatically blames himself for perceived mishaps and runs before the princess in question can officially reject him, even though none of them had any intention to do so.
